USV goes offline and then shutdown immediately

Hello there,
we habe an Debian system with Kernel 2.4.27 on it.
The version of apcupsd is 3.10.16 and the
APC Model is an Smart-UPS 3000 RM.

The Problem : If the System goes Power failure the
apcdupsd will normaley NOT goes on Batterie
sometimes yes but most of time not.
Then the system will shutdown.

I put the apccontrol.safe to /etc/apcupsd/apccontrol ,
because the system stands in an other town. So it
is a problem to test with the system.

And get this result :

Wed Sep 07 16:12:01 CEST 2005 Power failure.
Wed Sep 07 16:12:01 CEST 2005 Cannot exec /etc/apcupsd/apccontrol powerout: No such file or directory
Wed Sep 07 16:12:07 CEST 2005 Running on UPS batteries.
Wed Sep 07 16:12:07 CEST 2005 Cannot exec /etc/apcupsd/apccontrol onbattery: No such file or directory
Wed Sep 07 16:12:08 CEST 2005 Reached remaining time percentage limit on batteries.                             !!!!!!!
Wed Sep 07 16:12:08 CEST 2005 Initiating system shutdown!
Wed Sep 07 16:12:08 CEST 2005 Cannot exec /etc/apcupsd/apccontrol runlimit: No such file or directory
Wed Sep 07 16:12:08 CEST 2005 User logins prohibited
Wed Sep 07 16:12:08 CEST 2005 Cannot exec /etc/apcupsd/apccontrol doshutdown: No such file or directory
Wed Sep 07 16:27:50 CEST 2005 Mains returned. No longer on UPS batteries.
Wed Sep 07 16:27:50 CEST 2005 Cannot exec /etc/apcupsd/apccontrol offbattery: No such file or directory
Wed Sep 07 16:27:50 CEST 2005 Cancelling shutdown
Wed Sep 07 16:27:50 CEST 2005 Power is back. UPS running on mains.
Wed Sep 07 16:27:50 CEST 2005 Allowing logins
Wed Sep 07 16:27:50 CEST 2005 Cannot exec /etc/apcupsd/apccontrol mainsback: No such file or directory

Interesting is the line Reached remaining time percentage limit on batteries, because i have no !
And if i not changed the modul /etc/apcupsd/apccontrol with apccontrol.safe the system were shutdown.

Here is status :

The system is behaving exactly how you have it configured. Look:

So the UPS says there is 76 minutes of battery power remaining.

But in your apcupsd.conf you have apcupsd configured to shut down when
time left is less than 120 minutes. So of course apcupsd shuts your
server down immediately. I think perhaps you mistakenly thought MINUTES
was specific in seconds; it is not. You probably want "MINUTES 2"
instead of "MINUTES 120".
